Peter is an avid English Teacher from New Zealand with a bachelor's degree in medicine. 

He found his passion for teaching at the age of 16 when he started providing one-on-one private tuition to many students at varying levels and believes that a positive environment can give students more opportunities to learn and grow. 

Since 2020, he has been teaching in Taiwan to young learners at kindergarten and elementary levels. 

Outside of teaching, Peter enjoys anything related to tech gadgetry, tending to his pet parrot birds, and riding his motorcycle around the bustling streets of Taipei.

Celine is a dedicated educator from Belize with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and a Master's in Biodiversity. 

She has over two years of teaching experience in Taiwan and five years in her home country, instructing students from kindergarten through elementary levels in English, Science, and Creative Arts. 

Celine is passionate about creating engaging and interactive learning environments, encouraging students to develop confidence in their English communication skills.

 Outside the classroom, she enjoys staying active through walks and bike rides, soaking in the everyday life around her.

Elliot is a mechanical engineering graduate from NCUE who resided in Illinois, Chicago, due to family business commitments. Transitioning into the news media industry, Elliot served as an English news script editor, collaborating with global giants such as CNN, BBC, AP, and Reuters. Passionate about English education, he guides students to prestigious institutions like TAS and excels in exams like TOEIC, ISEE, and SSAT. 

Elliot's dedication extends to refining teaching methodologies; he believes in treating students not just as learners but as friends to enhance their learning willingness. 

Beyond academia, Elliot is a skilled musician, specializing in blues, funk, and blues jazz, enjoying composing and playing bass and guitar professionally in his spare time.

My name is Jacob Spaetgens. I'm an American ESL English teacher living in Taiwan. I was born and raised in Southern Louisiana,  in the heart of Cajun country. Having taken after my mother, who is also an educator, I became interested in being a teacher. In 2017, I decided to move across the world to beautiful Taiwan, where I've been living and teaching English ever since. My goal as a teacher is to build my students' confidence by presenting concepts and material in the most accessible ways that I can, thus showing them that learning can be easy and achievable. I'm currently enrolled in the TESOL Masters Program at NTNU, as I hope to continue my own education to enhance my abilities to be an effective educator. I'm of the mindset that there is always more to learn, and I'm ready to push myself towards being a better teacher. My personal hobbies include playing the piano, watching films, playing video games, and exploring the wonderful country of Taiwan.

Mark is an easygoing, kind, and humorous teacher from Canada. He has a bachelor’s degree from Thompson Rivers University and a master’s degree from Framingham State University. He has over 20 years of teaching experience in Taiwan, Canada, and Germany. 

In classroom activities, he tries to gamify learning whenever possible. Interactive approaches like conversations, simulations, and role playing connect learning to life and help students overcome shyness. 

His spare time involves a range of interests. He sometimes experiments in the kitchen with diverse dishes like spicy curry, stir fried dishes, pickled vegetables, and cheesecake. He also maintains a relaxed approach to staying active, particularly through rugby. For relaxation he enjoys watching TV shows and movies online while sipping on a cup of coffee.

Jessica, a passionate English teacher from New Zealand who loves languages and learning new skills in general. 

My interest in language learning began in Tamkang University as a Japanese language major who was surrounded by friends from different countries and backgrounds. After teaching at a local elementary school for the past year my love for language learning continued to grow which lead me to apply for LEEP. 

I aim to always create fun and engaging lessons for my students and will gladly customize my own teaching materials, props and original games according to my students needs. As someone who has gone through the process of picking up a new language multiple times, I believe that I understand the learners mindset well and hope that students will view me as someone more than a teacher, but instead, a partner in their language learning journey. 

My hobbies are countless, and include many physical activities such as badminton and dancing. On more relaxing days I love finding hidden cafes, drawing, video editing and crocheting.
